VOLUNTEER REMINDERS
- Meet Math:
- 186 registered swimmers x 2 volunteer jobs each = coverage for 372 jobs
- The good news? We only need to fill ~345 volunteer jobs this season!
- The better news? You can be the reason the meet doesn’t run on chaos and duct tape!
- Please help our volunteer coordinator by fulfilling your volunteer commitment!
- VACATION season!
- If you know in advance that your family will NOT be attending a meet, please RSVP your swimmer(s) as “Not Attending” so that you are not assigned any unfilled volunteer jobs.
- If you have a 9 or older swimmer, please consider signing up for 2nd half volunteer jobs as many of our 8 and under swimmers only swim in the first half.
- Please reach out to our volunteer coordinator at [email protected] if you have any volunteer-related questions or concerns.
WAVERIDERS MERCHANDISE
- If you ordered a visor from VA Swim Shop in May, they should be arriving soon! We will notify you when they are available with pick up instructions.
- Everyone should have already received all other items ordered from VA Swim Shop in our May bulk order.
- If you missed the bulk order in May and still want to order team merchandise, you can order anytime via our new SwimOutlet Team Store.
- We also have these items on hand for sale.
SWIM CAPS
- If you have not yet picked up a swim cap, we will have them available at the check-in table on Tuesday.
- All NEW-to-the-team swimmers receive a FREE silicone cap.
- Caps are $10/each for returning swimmers who need a new one for the season.
- Cash or Venmo @Waveriders-SwimTeam2213 and specify swim cap.
- We have several latex caps available for free if a swimmer wants one.
SWIMTOPIA PRO APP UPGRADE
- We have received great feedback thus far from several parents who upgraded to the pro version of the app.
- NOTE: The pro version is NOT required.
- The app offers a free 7-day trial if you would like to try before you buy.
We Need Your Help to Clean Up our Record Books!
With the transfer to the new SwimTopia system, we have access to WaveRider records going all the way back to 2008! But, while we have records of times, we don’t have all the swimmers names for relays. Please check the WaveRiders record books, and if you have any heat sheets or result sheets that might show what swimmers were in a relay, please send them over to us!
Thank you to our 2025 Sponsors!
